Helena Wayne was the original Huntress, created during the Golden Age as the daughter of Batman and Catwoman from an alternate Earth that aged relatively normal, known as Earth-2 in the DC multiverse. ![]() Born into a chaotic web of warring mob families in Gotham City, Helena Bertinellis life has always been a mess of violent extremes. The Huntress we will be seeing in the upcoming Birds of Prey film is Helena Bertinelli, but she isn't the first Helena to use the name Huntress. But Ramona isn't Winstead's only comic book role. A crossbow-wielding urban warrior and a core member of the Birds of Prey, the Huntress takes aim against crime in the dark heart of the city. When a third young woman, Dinah, is drawn to the other women with her psychic ability, the trio becomes the Birds of Prey. She's returning to the role of Ramona in "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off," Netflix's upcoming animated adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's comic. This adaptation will see the entire live-action film cast reprise their roles. The actress isn't afraid to lean into her niches. At the theme park, Zsasz tries to kill Harley, Dinah, and Cass, but he is killed by Helena Bertinelli/Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), who has been training. She bonds with Black Canary when they oppose a man called Braun, who had seduced and left them both. Huntress becomes involved with Oracle and Black Canary in the comic series Birds of Prey. One of her earliest credits was on Broadway, where she was featured in the children's choir of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" which, at the time, starred Donny Osmond.
